Boardman & Wells half column and splat clock c. 1832-1836, NOT FOR SALE

This timepiece was made prior to Michigan joining the union in 1837, in addition, during the birth of this clock, Charles Darwin was on his epic voyage on the Beagle to the Galapagos Islands from 1831-1836

It was serviced by Jay Thompson on Oct. 6, 1879 then serviced by Thomas Brotholm on June 21, 1907, Jay Thompson serviced it again  11 months later and  was not impressed by the work by Brotholm
